SPS March Progressive Challenge

Here's what I made with the surprise image for part two of the progressive challenge. It was fun to color up this elephant with the bright colors; of course it had to be a Celebration card!

The image was colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a gold paint pen and a white gel pen. Thanks for looking!

Sweet Pea Stamps March Progressive Challenge

Here's my first go round in a progressive challenge. Part 1 is anything goes with a stamp or digi image from any artist Sweet Pea Stamps offers. I have been wanting to color up this image for quite some time, and this was just the push I needed!
The digital image is from artist Helena Reis, Joy is...A Basket Full of Cats, and the challenge is actually on facebook;  Sweet Pea Stamps and Friends page.

I print my images out in my Word Program and this time I printed real light so I could color a no-lines effect.
I colored with Copic markers: Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, R20. Hair: E53, E55, E57, E59/Basket is same colors but with E51. Green: G07, YG25, YG03, YG00. Purple: V06, V05, V00. Blue: BG72, BG11, BG10. The kitties are some of the browns I had out, plus some greys I used for the shadow and the ground, W5, W3, W1, W00; plus my Signo white gel pen for whiskers!! The words I used on this card are from Newton's Nook Designs, and I think they work perfectly!--or should I say purrfectly! Here's a couple more close up shots for this fun birthday card!
