MiC CAS Background Challenge

Make It Crafty Clean and Simple Challenge 1: background technique. I used the lily image from the beautiful flower collection and colored it with watercolor crayons.

This was an interesting and fun technique to try with the crayons. I haven't used them much and I really like how they blended with my water brush. I thought the blue/teal background color would really make the white/yellow lilies pop. Thanks for looking!

National Scrapbooking Day Super Mae!

...including paper crafts with card making! :)
I've recently found Winnie & Walter fun products, and been introduced to Pinkfresh Studio with all their fantastic embellishments and products that make a layout stand out.
These two companies joined forces during national scrapbooking day and held several contests.  Here's my entry for the 4 p.m. color challenge: Neon pink, aqua and gold!
This fabulous digi image is from Some Odd Girl and was a breeze to color up with my Copic markers! I added Wink of Stella to her cape to give it the sparkle every super gal needs and some embossing paste to the background for added interest.

Here is another shot that shows off the glittery cape a bit  -so sparkly in real life!!
Thanks for checking my card out, I hope you like it!! Thanks also to #winnieandwalter #pinkfreshstudio #insdwwpfs2015 !! You sure inspired my day!
