Power Poppy's Going Green March 2017 challenge

This month I'm getting an entry in to Power Poppy's challenge. I have been an admirer and user of their images for quite a while, but have never entered their challenges! Now is your chance too, if you'd like to enter a card or two!!
I thought I'd get one in last month for the no-lines challenge, but did not get my image colored. So....this month I colored up the image I printed off in no-line style for the going green challenge!

Here's the Power Poppy challenge link: http://powerpoppy.blogspot.com/2017/03/lets-get-coloring-folks.html

This is the image I used. I zoomed in on the large dahlia and cropped it in Microsoft word.   http://powerpoppy.com/search?type=product&q=hello+dahlia
Here is the finished card and images leading up to it:

I colored the image with only four Copic markers: G28, G07, G14, YG23. I started trying all the darkest G28, but quickly found out the best way would be to color one petal at a time. That was actually quite satisfying to see it come together that way. I suggest trying that on your next no-lines project!!
Other items used are Stampin' Up! cardstock, Avery Elle sentiment and Lawn Fawn alphabet letters, Sizzix scalloped square die, WeRMemory keepers embossing folder, and some light green glitter glue.
Thanks for checking out my card and I'd love to hear your comment if you want to leave one!

  2. Your coloring is gorgeous, I went through your blog trying to find the stamp you used on one of your cards, it says you are in my prayers and it's a flower bouquet and you colored the flowers in very soft pinks. it's on your instagram thing? I love that bouquet and don't recognize it. Karen W jkwallace@mchsi.com if you can tell me what stamp that is. Thanks so much
